About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate live-in caregiver to join our family in Surrey, BC. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive compensation and benefits. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare, light housekeeping duties, and be comfortable with a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $23.00 per hour, with an expected workload of 30 to 40 hours per week. In addition to the competitive salary, we provide free parking and parking availability for your convenience. Work Schedule
The position requires flexibility in scheduling, with hours that may include early mornings, mornings, days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Key Responsibilities
As our live-in caregiver, your primary responsibilities will include providing attentive care for our children while maintaining a safe and healthy home environment. You’ll be expected to supervise children at all times, prepare and serve nutritious meals appropriate for their ages, and assist with feeding when necessary.
Child Care Duties
Your childcare responsibilities will include organizing engaging activities such as games and outings for the children, supervising their play and educational activities, and helping to maintain their daily routines. You’ll also be expected to discipline children according to the parenting methods we’ve established, ensuring consistency in their upbringing.
Housekeeping Responsibilities
In addition to childcare duties, you’ll be responsible for performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home environment. This includes tasks like laundry, meal preparation, cleaning common areas, and ensuring that the home remains tidy and welcoming for all family members.
Personal Care Assistance
The position includes assisting with personal hygiene needs, which may include helping with bathing and other aspects of personal care. This requires sensitivity, respect, and a professional approach to ensure the comfort and dignity of those in your care.
Family Travel
As part of this position, you may be required to travel with our family on trips and vacations. This is an excellent opportunity to see different parts of Canada and potentially beyond, while continuing to provide consistent care for the children in various settings.
