London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is inviting applications for 2.0wte positions in Respiratory Medicine. One position is based at Ealing Hospital, and one is based at Northwick Park Hospital with cross-site working required for both posts. Location Details
The primary location for one of these positions is Northwick Park Hospital, situated at Watford Road, Harrow, HA1 3UJ. This hospital is home to one of the busiest emergency departments in the country and provides a full range of services including the country’s top-rated hyper-acute stroke unit and one of only three hyper-acute rehabilitation units in the UK. The hospital offers excellent transport links and is easily accessible by public transport.
Salary and Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £109,725 to £145,478 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This is based on the Hospital Medical and Dental Staff pay scale. Working Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week. The post will contribute pro rata to the Acute Medicine Rotas in operation at the time of appointment. The successful applicant will work across their main site and may be required to work at other Trust sites as needed.

Language Requirements
Applicants must be proficient in English to work effectively in a clinical setting. Education and Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold MRCP (Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians) and be on the GMC register as a Medical Practitioner with specialist registration or within 6 months of CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training). A higher degree such as MD or PhD is desirable but not essential.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must have broad-based training in Respiratory medicine and its subspecialties. You must be independent at Bronchoscopy and pleural ultrasound/aspiration, with experience in EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound). Essential knowledge includes experience of teaching undergraduates and junior medical staff.
Desirable Qualifications
Previous experience in Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) is highly desirable. NHS experience in the last 3 years is also considered advantageous. Additionally, evidence of ongoing interest and achievement in research would strengthen your application.
Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in respiratory medicine, including all essential procedures mentioned above. Experience in a teaching hospital setting is preferred. You should demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development and be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
