Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Automotive Mechanic to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial transport truck systems. Compensation and Schedule

Key Responsibilities
As an Automotive Mechanic at EXELLAR TRANSPORTATION INC., your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
2. Discussing work progress and requirements with supervisors to ensure alignment with company standards and customer expectations.
3. Inspecting mechanical units thoroughly to locate faults and malfunctions before they become significant issues.
4. Conducting inspections of motors in operation to diagnose problems and assess performance.
5. Reviewing work orders carefully to understand the scope of repair or maintenance required for each vehicle.
6. Performing adjustments, repairs, or replacements of parts and components in automotive systems across various vehicle types.
7. Working specifically on truck-trailer systems to ensure proper functioning of these critical components.
8. Repairing or replacing mechanical units or components as needed to restore vehicles to optimal condition.
9. Performing scheduled maintenance services to prevent breakdowns and extend vehicle lifespan.
10. Testing and adjusting units to meet precise specifications and performance standards.
11. Advising customers on work performed and providing recommendations for future repair requirements to maintain vehicle health.
12. Completing detailed reports to document problems identified and work performed for record-keeping and quality assurance purposes.
13. Providing excellent customer service to clients, answering their questions, and addressing their concerns regarding vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
