About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join our healthcare team at Duchess Pharmaceuticals and Research Ltd. Key Responsibilities
As a Family Physician with Duchess Pharmaceuticals and Research Ltd., you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages. Your duties will include conducting patient examinations, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, developing treatment plans, and referring patients to specialists when necessary. You will also have the opportunity to participate in clinical research studies and contribute to the development of new pharmaceutical treatments.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid medical degree and be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Family Physician in Alberta, Canada. Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine is required. Previous experience in family practice is preferred, and experience in clinical research would be considered an asset. Strong communication skills, compassion, and a commitment to patient-centered care are essential qualities for this position.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $173,000 to $175,000 annually, with the exact amount to be negotiated based on experience and qualifications. This full-time position requires 160 to 170 hours of work per month, distributed across early morning, morning, day, and evening shifts with flexible scheduling options. Our comprehensive benefits package includes disability benefits, a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP), health benefits, free parking, and other valuable perks.
