Location Details

The position is based at Frimley Park Hospital located on Portsmouth Road in Frimley, Surrey (postcode GU16 7UJ). The dermatology services are delivered across multiple satellite sites including Aldershot Centre for Health, Farnham Hospital, Fleet Hospital, and Heatherwood Hospital. Working Pattern

Previous experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical students is essential, along with surgical skills for minor operation lists including excision biopsies, incisional biopsies, punch biopsies, and curettage procedures.

Job Responsibilities

The main duties include delivering general dermatology clinics, outpatient skin surgery, patch testing, and ward referrals. The post holder will also support services in paediatric dermatology, contact dermatitis, and psoriasis. Sessions will be a mixture of fixed and flexible, with half a day per month dedicated to medical audit and teaching. Regular attendance at dermatology departmental team meetings, Skin Cancer Network meetings, and MDTs is required.
