We are currently seeking a qualified Automotive Body Technician to join our team at Fix Auto Strathmore. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive compensation of $36.00 per hour. Work Schedule
The Automotive Body Technician position follows a regular schedule with shifts available during early morning, morning, and daytime hours. This position requires 35 to 40 hours of work per week, providing a stable work schedule with predictable hours. Our facility operates Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on business demands.

Job Responsibilities
Vehicle Assessment and Planning
As an Automotive Body Technician at Fix Auto Strathmore, you will be responsible for accurately estimating repair costs based on detailed damage examination reports. You will inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality standards are met and plan repair work to be performed efficiently. This requires attention to detail and the ability to assess vehicle damage thoroughly.
Customer Service Excellence
Professionalism in customer service is a key aspect of this role. You will interact with clients regarding repair progress, explain technical issues in understandable terms, and maintain positive relationships throughout the repair process. Vehicle Testing and Quality Control
You will be responsible for test driving repaired vehicles to ensure proper handling and functionality before returning them to clients. Workspace Maintenance
Cleaning and maintaining a safe, organized work space is an important responsibility. Component Replacement

Painting and Refinishing
Applying primers and repainting surfaces is a key responsibility of this position. You will mix paint accurately, blend and match colors to achieve seamless repairs, and ensure proper application techniques are used. This skill requires attention to detail and knowledge of automotive painting processes.
Interior and Window Repair
The role includes repairing or replacing interior components as needed, as well as addressing damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs. These repairs require specialized knowledge and techniques to ensure proper installation and functionality.
Advanced Repair Techniques
You will operate soldering equipment and use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams. Additionally, you will straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment. These advanced techniques require specialized training and experience.
