Qualifications and Requirements
Required Licenses
All applicants must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license, which allows operation of cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles. Additionally, candidates must have an Air Brake (Z) endorsement, which is essential for operating commercial dump trucks safely in Alberta. These licenses must be valid and in good standing with no major traffic violations in the past three years.
Experience Requirements
Candidates must have proven experience in commercial truck driving, specifically with dump trucks. You should be familiar with preparing and submitting accident or incident reports, completing bills of lading accurately, maintaining driver logbooks in compliance with regulations, conducting thorough inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip), and preparing comprehensive trip reports. A minimum of two years of commercial driving experience is preferred.
Skills and Abilities

You should be able to work independently as well as part of a team, communicate effectively with dispatch and customers, and handle various weather and road conditions safely. Job Responsibilities
As a Dump Truck Driver with Big Binz 4U Ltd, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: addressing customers’ complaints or concerns professionally and promptly; coaching colleagues on new methods or work techniques to improve safety and efficiency; demonstrating professionalism in all customer service interactions; overseeing the condition of your vehicle by regularly inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment; performing brake adjustments as needed; conducting emergency roadside repairs when possible; performing thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections; completing preventive maintenance tasks; receiving and relaying information to central dispatch; recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption; and properly tarping loads to ensure safety and security of cargo at all times.
