About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Nurse to join our bank team at Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital. This position offers a flexible working pattern on an ad-hoc basis, perfect for nurses seeking variety in their work schedule while earning up to £21.00 per hour. As a Staff Nurse in our award-winning hospital, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care across our consultant-led ward.
Main Responsibilities
As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will be expected to:

- Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient’s needs

About Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital
The Exeter Nuffield hospital is based next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. Our facility features 2 theatres, a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre, and an Endoscopy suite. We have two ward areas: an inpatient area with 21 beds and a day-case ward with 12 beds. Additionally, we boast a busy outpatient department, pharmacy, physiotherapy services, and a radiology department including an MRI scanner.
Specialist Services
We specialise in a range of medical services including elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery, cardiology including invasive procedures, general surgery, plastics and cosmetic surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), and gynaecology. The Hospital has a MAKO robot that undertakes some of the joint replacement surgery, making us well-known in this field of surgical excellence.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must be registered with the appropriate governing body and bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration. As a Staff Nurse in our hospital, you’ll need to be alert, focused, detail-oriented, and empathetic. You should possess post-registration experience and demonstrate a passion for exceptional patient care.
